journal pages

More art journal pages I finished. I tend to draw these while I wait for my daughter to get out of school so like 20 minutes, then come home and paint. I am currently working on a secret project that I will be sharing in a few days. Have a good day!

The above scrapbook picture is of DD first dentist appointment and check up. She did so well the only thing that scared her was the dentist chair going up, down, forward and backward. I found it so cute and she did so well. Working on a few more art journal pages be sharing those soon.

Here are the last of my pictures from our weekend trip a few weeks ago.

The house below is just precious. It looks like such a sweet little cottage I so despartely wanted to take a look inside but I had to settle for a picture of the outside. But it is lovely.

My husband and I are still trying to figure out what the building above is used for, we know it's part of the high school but for what? We never did find out.

The above is the library for both Eagar/Springerville it is quite nice wish it were open so we could have seen the interior. I love libraries! Weird?

During the weekend of the July 24th my family and I went up North to Eager/Springerville to get away from the heat here in Arizona. Here are a few pictures and tomorrow I will share the rest.

We saw a lot of the above open fields usually with horses and cattle. It was great to actually see something other than catcus and rock and to life a bit slower.

I found this cabin above quiet interesting.

I am currently working in my art journal and will start making my Christmas presents for those out of state tomorrow. I'd like to get those out by October. I will have some pic's to share tomorrow.

New painting

I made this painting over the weekend. It was inspired by painting that Jodi Ohl she made a series of houses and building and this is an adaptation of one of hers.

I have to admit that painting on canvas is addicting. I can't wait to purchase more canvas and create my own series. I can't really draw but I do love to experiment and see what I can really do. Nothing ventured nothing gained and I love my creation.

So go out there and try something new!

Busy creating

Art Journal - Cupcake Queen

I have been creating backrounds in my art journal for the last few days and trying to complete a couple of pages from a pervious entry from our trip to Eager/Springerville that we took this last weekend.

The Princess has just about completed her first week of Kindergarten ( I will post a first day of school pic soon) and she has been loving it.

I also plan on making a post regarding our little weekend trip as well. But for now enjoy this from Flickr.
